MoneyWorks4me Filter

This filter' created by MoneyWorks4me enables you to identify healthy companies/stocks from a whole universe of stocks. Through 2 vital stages of filtering based on a company's fundamental strength and valuation, this feature helps you narrow down stocks worth investing in.
Investors are always in search of sound companies worth investing in; companies which are capable of good returns and minimize the risk at the same time. Without a filtering system finding such stocks can be an ordeal. Our filtering method allows you to identify fundamentally strong stocks (This would be a Green as per the MoneyWorks4me color code) that are available at attractive valuations in no time.

MoneyWorks4me Filter

Step 1 - Select your domain:
As a starting point you need to select a domain. There are 2 options available to you - either you can select your domain on the basis of a sector (for e.g. Pharma, Consumer Durables etc.) or from the option of all companies (in this case BSE 500).

Step 2 - Filter on the basis of the company's fundamental strength -
MoneyWorks4me gauges the strength of a company by analyzing its 10 YEAR X-RAY i.e. its financial track record (link of 10 YEAR X-RAY description) and then assigns a color code to the company's financial track record - i.e. Green (Very Good) if it has had an excellent financial track record, Orange ('Somewhat Good') if there have been just a few bad performances over the years and Red (Not Good).

We advise investors to choose the ones coded Green, if they are willing to take more risk then only you should go ahead and choose a company/stock coded Orange. We don't advise you to select the Red coded companies at all as these are the ones that have had a dismal performance over the years and are fraught with risk.

Step 3 - Filter On the basis of our valuation -
After you've screened the companies on the basis of a color code for their fundamental strength, you can screen them further on the basis of their valuation i.e. if they are overvalued or undervalued. MoneyWorks4me calculates the right value (MRP) of a company, which helps you know whether a company is overvalued or undervalued.

Post-Filter utility- Compare after filtering:
Once you have narrowed down a few stocks in the 'Green' category, you would probably arrive at a shortlist of about 10-15 stocks. This list further allows you to compare these companies on the basis of certain criteria like Market Capitalization (large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap), Net Sales, P/E etc. After this you are just one step away from selecting a good company worth investing in. All you need now is just to go ahead and Evaluate the company.

This is how our filtration tool helps you identify fundamentally strong stocks that are undervalued, hence worth investing in, while helping you screen stocks which are overvalued and which therefore could be considered for selling.
