Infosys, TCS likely to employ 20,000 engineers from MP: Report

Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), information technology companies are likely to recruit 20,000 engineers hailing from Madhya Pradesh in the near future, if the Madhya Pradesh government's plan goes well. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan decided to allot 100 acre land in Indore to Infosys and TCS, on the promise of generating jobs. The land will be allotted at the rate of Rs 20 lakh per acre.

Recently, Infosys has entered into a multi-year Transformation and Business IT services pact with Syngenta AG, one of the world leading agribusiness companies based in Switzerland. The contract that will provide consistency and predictability of service delivery, Infosys will consolidate Syngenta’s Global Business IT services landscape under a single shared services engagement.
