Axis Bank, India`s third largest private sector bank in collaboration with Tata Capital, has launched Tata Travel Card to provide travel and forex related services. The Tata Travel Card aims to clock Rs 100 crore of business in the next two years and will be marketed by T T Holdings and Services. This pre-paid card will be available in nine currencies - the US dollar, the euro, the pound, Canadian dollar, Swedish kroner, Swiss franc, Singapore dollar, the yen, and UAE dirham.
Axis bank has already crossed $2 billion mark in the forex card segment in 2011 and will use its leadership position in a pre-paid forex segment for business growth in this segment. Besides, Tata Capital would utilize the customer base of Tata companies to make the new card popular.
Recently, Axis Bank had introduced new brand campaign - ‘Badhti Ka Naam Zindagi’ by changing earlier campaign - ‘Aapka Solution.’ The bank aims to highlight it as a preferred partner in progress after having established its credentials as a customer centric bank.
