Siemens moves higher on bagging order worth Rs 187.4 crore from BREB

Siemens is currently trading at Rs. 1249.25, up by 9.70 points or 0.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 1239.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1239.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1255.95 and Rs. 1239.55 respectively. So far 5872 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1355.40 on 25-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1011.00 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1266.00 and Rs. 1218.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 44315.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.17% and 10.83% respectively.

Siemens has bagged an order worth around Rs 187.4 crore from Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), Dhaka. The project includes construction of new 33/11 kV Air Insulated Switchgear substations in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. The project is part of BREB’s efforts to upgrade the country’s rural electricity distribution system and will contribute to accomplishing the Government of Bangladesh’s Vision of ‘Electricity for All by 2021’.
