Reliance Infrastructure trades high on the bourses

Reliance Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 574.00, up by 2.30 points or 0.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 571.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 572.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 575.15 and Rs. 571.00 respectively. So far 58521 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 635.35 on 09-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 426.45 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 598.70 and Rs. 559.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15095.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.65%, while institutions and non-institutions held 37.56% and 12.80% respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure has reportedly emerged as the lowest bidder for developing the national highway project in Tamil Nadu. The project entails widening a 66 km-long section of NH-45 C connecting Vikkaravandi to Pinalur-Sethiyahopu into four lanes. The engineering, construction and procurement project is to be completed in 24 months. The project is under Government's flagship National Highway Development Programme (NHDP) and is funded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

Reliance Infrastructure is one of the largest infrastructure companies, developing projects through various Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) in several high growth sectors such as Power, Roads and Metro Rail in the Infrastructure space and the Defence sector.
