Shriram Transport Finance gains on raising Rs 600 crore through NCDs

Shriram Transport Finance Company is currently trading at Rs. 1035.00, up by 3.25 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 1031.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1044.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1045.80 and Rs. 1031.00 respectively. So far 10661 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1325.00 on 01-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 778.00 on 26-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1065.00 and Rs. 1021.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23573.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.80% and 33.12% respectively.

Shriram Transport Finance Company has allotted 6000 partly paid secured redeemable rated listed Non-Convertible Debenture (NCDs) of face value of Rs 10 lakh each, aggregating to Rs 600 crore on private placement basis. The Allotment Committee - NCDs of the company in its meeting held on March 23, 2017 has approved for the same.

Shriram Transport Finance is a flagship company of the Chennai-based Shriram group and is classified as deposit taking Asset Financing NBFC. The company was with an objective to provide hire purchase and lease finance for the medium and heavy commercial vehicles to individual truck operators.
