Andhra Bank trades higher on the BSE

Andhra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 30.40, up by 0.65 points or 2.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 29.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.65 and Rs. 30.00 respectively. So far 11072 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 60.25 on 05-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 25.20 on 29-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 30.65 and Rs. 28.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5172.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 77.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.75% and 11.26% respectively.

Andhra Bank will deploy over 1,600 business correspondents (BCs) to provide a host of services like account opening, door-step banking, ATM deployment and NPA recovery under its financial inclusion project. The bank will deploy these business correspondents mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The lender has been implementing the financial inclusion project since 2010 through the BCs model with micro ATMs/kiosk banking technology. Among others, BCs may also be assigned with other financial and non-financial transactions like recovery of loans, enrolment of social security schemes as well as mobilization of new business for the bank.

Andhra Bank offers a wide range of services such as Retail banking, Agriculture, MSME, Corporate, NRI services and Personal banking services etc.
