Bharti Airtel gains on hiking mandatory minimum recharge for pre-paid customers

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 462.30, up by 7.00 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 455.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 457.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 464.75 and Rs. 455.30 respectively. So far 211364 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 485.75 on 02-Dec-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 269.25 on 05-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 464.75 and Rs. 445.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 236429.48 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.53% and 1.74% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has raised its mandatory minimum recharge for pre-paid customers to Rs 45 from Rs 23. It will be mandatory to recharge with a voucher of Rs 45 or above, every 28 days to avail services. In case of non-recharge with a voucher of Rs 45 or above, all services will be suspended post the grace period.
