Bosch has received its Board of Directors’ approval to invest in Autozilla Solutions, a startup from Hyderabad (India) that operates a B2B e-commerce marketplace for buying and selling auto parts. This is part of an initiative to establish effective digital ecosystem around vehicle workshops. The company is in discussion with Autozilla to invest Rs 13.35 crore for a minority stake upto 26%.
The investment shall be subject to all statutory approvals. This transaction will enable Bosch's Automotive Aftermarket division to strengthen the market pull through its ‘Extra’ Loyalty Program for independent car workshops and Bosch Car Service outlets. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held at Feuerbach, Germany on November 09, 2021 has, approved the same.
