Moser Baer inches up as its arm - MBPPL gets final nod for 120 MW Miyar hydro plant

Moser Baer is currently trading at Rs. 7.13, up by 0.03 points or 0.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 7.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7.28 and Rs. 7.05 respectively. So far 5, 30,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 21.45 on 22-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.61 on 26-Nov-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 8.34 and Rs. 6.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 120 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.29% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.18% and 83.52% respectively.

Moser Baer’s arm - Moser Baer Projects (MBPPL) has received the final approval of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) for its 120 MW Miyar hydro plant in Himachal Pradesh. The company aims to start the construction in April next year. The company has completed all necessary investigative work in order to minimize geological risks for the project.

The project will be located at Lahaul in Himachal Pradesh and will have three units of 40 MW capacities each. This project will see an investment of about Rs 900 crore and would be funded in the debt to equity ratio of 75:25.
