Rama Newsprint trades jubilantly on inking pact to sell 170 acres of its unused land

Rama Newsprint & Papers is currently trading at Rs. 16.95, up by 2.07 points or 13.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.88 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17.30 and Rs. 14.75 respectively. So far 194638 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 17.30 on 14-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.05 on 25-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.10 and Rs. 14.82 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 86.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.83% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.26% and 47.90% respectively.

Rama Newsprint & Papers has entered into an agreement for sale of 170 acres of its unused land, subject to requisite approvals, for Rs 52.70 crores plus applicable taxes and levies.
