CEAT rides high after its Division inks agreement with CNH Industrial to supply agricultural radial tires

Ceat is currently trading at Rs. 1430.00, up by 35.10 points or 2.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 1394.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1392.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1439.30 and Rs. 1378.90 respectively. So far 3442 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1981.45 on 02-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 890.00 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1451.00 and Rs. 1378.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5785.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.01% and 15.78% respectively.

CEAT Specialty, a Division of CEAT, has entered into an agreement with CNH Industrial to supply agricultural radial tires for their machines being produced in Brazil and Argentina. CEAT Farmax radials are being fitted in Case IH and New Holland tractors.

The agreement was locked after several rounds of assessment and audits by the OEM of the Mumbai-based radial plant of CEAT and after multiple tests done on tires on various parameters. In the specialty segment, CEAT manufactures farm, mining and earthmover, industrial, and construction equipment tires, as well as special application off road tires.

CEAT is among the best tyre manufacturers in India. It manufactures a wide range of tyres for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, tractors and tippers and trucks. Besides tyres, the company also manufactures and markets tubes and flaps.
