Bosch surges on the BSE

Bosch is currently trading at Rs. 7062.80, up by 91.30 points or 1.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 6971.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7060.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7215.00 and Rs. 6871.60 respectively. So far 1434 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 7480.00 on 19-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 5701.00 on 26-Oct-2010.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7220.00 and Rs. 6871.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21889.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.18% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.95% and 9.87% respectively.

Union and Workmen of Bosch at Bangalore Plant have commenced a ‘Tool Down’ strike with effect from (w.e.f) I shift of September 28, 2011, without giving any prior notice to management. In view of the Union’s illegal and unjustified strike, the management of the company has decided to shut down Plant operations for workmen w.e.f. September 29, 2011. Efforts are in hand to resolve the matter and restore normalcy at the earliest possible date.
