Mahindra Satyam shines on bagging multiyear contract from Bridgestone Europe

Mahindra Satyam is currently trading at Rs. 106.25, up by 1.15 points or 1.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 105.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 106.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 107.10 and Rs. 105.50 respectively. So far 2,77,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 131.20 on 18-Mar-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 75.00 on 12-Jun-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 113.50 and Rs. 101.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12,508.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.63% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.45% and 17.92% respectively.

Mahindra Satyam has bagged a multiyear contract from Bridgestone Europe for its managed services. The company will work on SAP based mission critical applications for Bridgestone Europe. As part of this deal, Mahindra Satyam will support Bridgestone in sales, planning, procurement and finance functions. Mahindra Satyam has been working with Bridgestone since 2005 in providing IT application development and support service.
