Videocon Telecom, part of the diversified $4 billion Videocon Group, has reportedly cut outgoing call rates by 50% for its customers roaming across the country. Customers can now make local outgoing calls at 50 paise a minute and STD calls at 75 paise a minute. The company has slashed the tariffs under a special tariff voucher of Rs 45. The voucher has also entitled customers to 20 minutes of free incoming calls a day for two weeks.
