Pricol spurts on receiving approval for merger scheme

Pricol is currently trading at Rs. 27.50, up by 0.40 points or 1.48% from its previous closing of Rs 27.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 27.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 28.00 and Rs 27.45 respectively. So far 45610 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Re 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 28.00 on 17-Dec-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 14.35 on 26-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 27.60 and Rs 21.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 261.29 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.63% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.33% and 55.04% respectively.

Pricol has received in-principle approval for the merger of Xenos Automotive, a company engaged in Automotive Accessories, in which the Promoters of Pricol hold a majority of the Shares, subject to the approval of Shareholders, Secured Creditors and Honorable High Court, Chennai. The company’s board meeting held on December 16, 2013 has approved for same.

Pricol is engaged in the manufacture and export of a complete range of automotive components starting from instrument clusters, dashboard meters, fuel sensors, oil pressure switches, speedometer drive cables, fuel cut off valve, filter suction, etc.
