M&M’s JV inaugurates new facility in Pune

Mahindra Conveyor Systems (MCS), a leading supplier of material handling equipment and systems has inaugurated its new facility at Ambadwet in Pirangut, Pune. It comprises of factory sheds of about 10,000 sq. m. which are well equipped for manufacturing and surface finishing and an office block spread across 1100 sq. m.

The new facility will allow fabrication of conveyor systems and components and will supply to the growing demand for conveyor products. It boasts of a 10,000 sq. mt fabrication facility with latest equipment, including metal forming and welding equipment, shot blasting, paint booth and oven. The facility also has a waste and effluent treatment plant to treat and recycle waste generated during the manufacturing process.

Mahindra Conveyor Systems, a Mahindra Group company, is a joint venture between Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) and Tsubakimoto Bulk Systems Corp., Japan. It is a leading supplier of Material Handling Systems and Equipment. The company enjoys a reputation as a supplier of reliable and high quality conveying equipment, mainly to the cement industry in India.
