About Akar Laminators Ltd

Akar Laminators was incorporated as a private limited company on June 26, 1989 and converted into a public limited company with effect from August 12, 1991. Shri Vinodbhai T Sheth is the main promoter of the company .The registered office of the company is at Ahmadabad, Gujarat.

In the year 1991, Vishnu Vijay Packagers Pvt. Ltd, an Aurangabad-based company manufacturing flexible packaging material was taken over by the promoters of Akar Laminators Ltd. In the year the company was amalgamated with Sharp Industries Ltd and then later in 2000 again the company itself got amalgamated with Sharat Industries along with and Vishnu Vijay Packagers.

The company is a manufacturer of laminated flexible packaging materials. it is engaged in manufacturing polyester/polylaminated and multi laminated printed, hygienic and moisture-proof flexible packaging materials used by manufacturers of consumer goods; namely food, pan masala, cosmetics, soap, shampoo, tea, coffee, and other products. The company has an installed capacity of 14,000 TPA flexible packaging material.
