Maharaja Shree Umaid Mills (MSUM), a LN Bangur group enterprise, was incorporated on August 12, 1939. It is a spinning-cum-composite textile company with over sixty five years standing in the chosen business of yarns and fabrics.
The company is a technically and technologically upgraded, scalable and diversified yarns manufacturing unit apart from plain-woven processed cotton fabrics. Their products include premium quality cotton combed and carded ring spun as well as open ended yarns and viscose spun yarns meeting the committed quality parameters for varied Knitting and Weaving applications.
Products of the company are available across the country through direct supplies / networking. Products of the company are exported to more than 25 countries across the continents. The company has strong belief in developing and nurturing the relationship with the business associates for the mutual growth.
Yarns Business: The company manufactures industrial yarns, carded/combed hosiery and weaving yarns, bleached/mercerised sewing thread yarns in cotton; and grey polyester viscose blended and 100% viscose yarns. Having completed the technology up-gradation cum expansion plans , the present installed capacity is 109344 ring spindles and 1896 OE rotors having a total output of about 70 tonnes/day.
Implementation of innovative plans at successive stages has enabled the company to achieve a transformational change in the segregated equipments line-up and systems in keeping with the latest trends in the domestic as well as international markets for quality cotton yarns which has been the business mainstay of the company. The technology lead acquired and being kept up through drive of continuous up-gradation enables the company to supply world class cotton yarns meeting the best international quality parameters. The ideally sized and well segregated capacities enable the company to commit and meet on-time delivery performances consistently.
Fabrics Business : The company produces 100% cotton dyed poplins. Its market is spread across the country where Indian ethnic sarees are worn by the women. By virtue of decades of track record of consistently good quality standards, the sompany enjoys market leadership in the segment. The installed capacity is 460 looms producing about 50000 metres of fabrics every day.
