Welcome to the Demo of the Mutual Fund solution of MoneyWorks4me. The Mutual Fund is divided into 5 parts, with some key details on the top
The Decision Maker helps you decide,
- Is it the Right Fund
- What is the Right Price?
- What is the Right Allocation?
Check if the Fund is investment-worthy, in its category, based on its Underlying Asset Quality, Returns Performance and Expense Ratio. Green & Orange Funds are fine. Avoid Red ones
Check if at the current price, the Fund's Potential Returns (CAGR) over the next 3 years is more than the Potential Returns from its Benchmark and Liquid Bees (FD) returns. If yes, then it’s the Right Price to invest at.
Here you get what is the maximum you can invest in the Fund, to ensure a diversified portfolio to reduce risk while enhancing returns.
Compare the Benchmark Return vs the Fund’s Return vs Implied Investor Return (IIR) i.e. the return that Investors actually earned. These are colour-coded for easy assessment . You can also see the Expense Ratio i.e. the total fee that a Fund charges and its colour code which informs whether the excess returns earned justified the expense.
Alpha is the difference between the returns earned by a Fund and its Benchmark Index over a given period. When seen over a period, but with different start dates, it is called Rolling Alpha. Check if the Fund has consistently generated positive Rolling Alpha
Look at the Quality of Underlying Assets of the Fund. It highlights the risks taken by the Fund Manager to generate returns. Lot of Red stocks, means higher risks. If the Fund holds more Mid and Small- cap stocks with respect to the Benchmark Index, then the Fund may be taking higher risk than its stated objective
Look at the Valuation of the Underlying Assets of the Fund. Higher the allocation to Under-valued stocks, higher the future Returns/Upside
Here you can compare similar Funds on the Potential Upside i.e. Returns the Fund is likely generate over next 3 years with the current portfolio from the current valuation
