Portfolio Managers
The BoughtList is the summary of stocks which you have bought and are presently a part of your portfolio. Any company which you have bought should be in the BoughtList. The 'WatchList' is a summary of stocks you haven't bought, but you'd like to monitor before actually investing in them. The main reason why you would want to save a company in the 'WatchList' is because; you like a company but are waiting for market price to fall below Discount Price or waiting for a Strong Buy alert. The WatchList ideally ought to contain fundamentally strong stocks which are trading above the DP but you are waiting for the most attractive price.
Another difference between the WatchList and BoughtList is the type of triggers you can set. The WatchList assumes that you are not presently holding the stocks. Hence a 'Sell' trigger price cannot be saved on the WatchList. Only 'Buy' triggers can be set in the WatchList. In the BoughtList you can set both the 'Buy' and 'Sell' trigger prices.
Our Price Calculator feature helps you decide your own MRP and DP. You can set your own Buy Trigger price either below our Discount Price or any price you feel will give you maximum profits.
In the WatchList, the trigger price is the price at which you wish to buy a stock. When the market price hits the trigger price you specified, you will receive an alert so that you can buy immediately.
When a company in your WatchList hits your target 'Buy' price, you might buy it. Hence this button will help simplify putting a company from your WatchList to your BoughtList
