For this purpose, the company has submitted the Investment Intention with the Government of Gujarat under Vibrant Gujarat 2015. The proposed location of the project is tentatively decided at Valsad, Navsari, Ahmedabad or Surat districts subject to the availability of land and other infrastructure facilities.
The Studio will be one of the most modern, well equipped studios in the region and will offer ample infrastructure and world-class logistics for motion pictures and television productions. Shalimar Studio will feature many ready to shoot & customizable locations-movies can be planned in any expanse and shot here.
The Studio intends to offer complete range of production related services including pre and post production services including costumes, property/set-dressings, set-design and construction, scenic-art, set-lighting, grip, special effects, accommodation, catering, production sound, transportation, photolab, etc. Proposed to be spread over 100 acres, the project cost is Rs 23 crore in the first phase. The project is planned to be implemented in several phases.
