IT giant Wipro is strengthening its presence in China as more companies set up their manufacturing base there. The company plans to triple the workforce in China to provide software services to more companies there. Wipro has about 1,000 employees working out of its facility in China. Wipro and other Indian software service companies are also witnessing a trend where local companies in China have started competing with them offering lower prices.
