Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Monday

Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Monday due to lack of follow up buying in the market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 140/ kg and Rs 135.50/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, contract of May delivery improved to Rs 142.10 compared to its previous closing of Rs 139.57, while June delivery closed at Rs 144.99 compared to its previous close of Rs 142.33 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
