Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 12.3% fall in total sales of Eicher branded products to 3,434 units in April 2014. The company had sold 3,917 units in the same month of the previous year.

The company’s domestic CV market (5T and above), Eicher trucks and buses have recorded sales of 2,791 units in April 2014 as compared to 3,766 units in the year-ago period, down by 25.90%.

On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 643 units in April 2014 as compared to 151 units in the same month of the previous year, representing a growth of 325.80%.
