Ortin Laboratories to acquire stake in Ortin Biotech

Ortin Laboratories is eyeing for approval to acquire stake in Ortin Biotech. For the above propose the company will hold a board meeting of its directors on June 18, 2011. The company is also in progress of merger of Vineet Laboratories with itself.

Last year in July, Pharma major Ortin Laboratories’ board had decided to acquire Vineet Laboratories by way of merger / amalgamation. The board had given its approval at its meeting held on July 21, 2010.

Ortin Laboratories manufactures’ the complete range of Pharmaceutical Formulations of Tablets, Capsules, Syrups, Dry Powders & Ointments. Due to its concern for quality, the company stands as a leading and predominant pharmaceutical manufacturer of drugs and medicines of the country with turnover running in crores of rupees.

Vineet Laboratories is an established Drug Intermediates manufacturing unit, majorly involved in the preparations of intermediates for ANTI-RETRO VIRALS and LIPID LOWERING AGENTS which is located in Choutuppal, Nalgonda District.
