DLF's outstanding tax as on Dec 2010 amounts to Rs 248.76 cr

Minister of State for Finance said that tax amounting to Rs 248.76 crore is outstanding against the country's largest realty firm DLF as on December 2010.The minister was replying to a query whether Income Tax Department has sought Rs 1,180 crore as tax from DLF and its 22 subsidiary companies.  The national capital-based DLF currently has a land bank of about 400 million sq ft of saleable area, of which 56 million sq ft is under construction.
