Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2014.

The company has posted a rise of 5.98% in its net profit at Rs 1175.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 1109.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.71% at Rs 4183.64 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3615.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.

For the year ended March 31, 2014, the company has posted a jump of 6.20% in its net profit at Rs 4497.42 crore as compared to Rs 4234.50 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company improved by 17.95% at Rs 15721.41 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 13328.74 crore for the period ended March 31, 2013.

For the year ended March 31, 2014, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 5.44% in its net profit at Rs 4547.58 crore as compared to Rs 4312.61 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 17.62% at Rs 16146.12 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 13727.12 crore for the period ended March 31, 2013.
