M&M gains on unveiling special edition of XUV500

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is currently trading at Rs. 1206.15, up by 6.80 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 1199.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1205.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1220.00 and Rs. 1200.00 respectively. So far 20845 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1268.75 on 02-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 741.50 on 28-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1268.75 and Rs. 1162.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 74171.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.29% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 52.80% and 16.92% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has rolled out a special edition of its sports utility vehicle XUV500, priced at Rs 13.68 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). XUV500 Sportz, which has been built upon the top end model of XUV500, comes with various external and internal features including rear-view camera and leather-fabric seats.

The model comes with various high end features like electronic stability programme (ESP) with rollover mitigation, airbags and hill hold control and hill descent control functions.
