National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) is planning to enter into overseas business. At present, the company is exploring the possibilities of projects in Oman, Botswana and neighbouring countries. The company is opening office branches in Botswana and Oman and has tied up with a company in Oman for development of an infrastructure project that could hopefully book some revenue in the last quarter this fiscal. The company is also looking at opportunities in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar.

NBCC is a Schedule 'A' Mini Ratna Company. The company is one of the few public sector companies engaged in the business of project management consultancy services for civil construction projects (PMC), civil infrastructure for power sector and real estate development.
