NMDC’s iron ore production stood at 4.94 million tonnes up to May 2014

NMDC has reported the details of Production / Despatches achieved up to May, 2014 and Prices of Iron Ore fixed for the month of June, 2014. The company has achieved production and despatches of iron ore of 4.94 million tonnes and 5.65 million tonnes respectively (Provisional) up to May 2014. The company rolled over the May, 2014 prices of iron ore (Lumps - Rs 4,600 /WMT, Fines - Rs 3160/WMT) to the month of June, 2014.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
