Idea Cellular rings loud on inking partnership pact with IOC

Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs. 146.90, up by 1.65 points or 1.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 145.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 146.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 148.55 and Rs. 146.10 respectively. So far 339343 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 188.35 on 15-Oct-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 125.10 on 28-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 147.85 and Rs. 135.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 48638.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.92% and 32.27% respectively.

Idea Cellular has entered into partnership pact with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) to facilitate over 82 million LPG consumers of Indane to book LPG 24x7 on mobile phones and get delivery status updates via IVR and SMS. According to the agreement, that is valid for two years, Idea will extend its ‘smart gas solution’ service to enable end-to-end automation on refill delivery process of IOC.

The process starts from initiating booking request, billing, etc and ends with delivery of LPG cylinder with regular updates to consumers, across the country. It will cover over 82 million consumers and over 7,000 distributors delivering more than 1.5 million LPG cylinders every day.The service has been launched in 45 cities and will be rolled out across India in the next three months.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
