Tata Steel’s subsidiary JUSCO revises power tariff for Jamshedpur

Tata Steel’s 100% subsidiary - Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company (JUSCO), has revised the power tariff for Jamshedpur. JUSCO had given the petition to the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (JSERC) for tariff revision which has been approved and would be effective from June 1, 2014.

For domestic and commercial tariff, there has been an increase of around 8% to 9% and constitutes 99% of JUSCO’s consumer base. The industrial tariff has been increased around 17% to 18% while DSHT (Societies) where there is bulk supply an increase of around 8% to 9% has been approved.
