Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Wednesday

Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Wednesday due to scattered transactions in the market, though lower arrivals in the local trading houses capped some losses in rubber prices to some extent.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 145.50/ kg and Rs 141.50/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, contract of June delivery declined to Rs 142.60 compared to its previous close of Rs 143.01, while July delivery closed at Rs 144.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 144.70 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
