NTPC has informed that, as per Article 41 (iv) of Articles of Association of the company, a Director representing the Government Department shall retire on his ceasing to be an official of that Department. G. Sai Prasad, Joint Secretary (Thermal), Ministry of Power, a Government nominee Director on the Board of NTPC has repatriated to his parent cadre from the Ministry of Power w.e.f. June 16, 2014. Accordingly, he has ceased to be Director on the Board of NTPC w.e.f. June 16, 2014.
