Tata Motors trades higher on the bourses

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 437.45, up by 3.60 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 433.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 437.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 441.00 and Rs. 435.00 respectively. So far 222360 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 464.20 on 16-May-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 263.10 on 27-Jun-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 451.30 and Rs. 427.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 120018.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.33% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.89% and 7.53% respectively.

Tata Motors’ British-based arm Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR), has received a prestigious 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. The company received the award for outstanding overseas sales growth over the last three years.
