FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on December 28, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1046.60 crore against gross sell of Rs 682.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 363.70 crore in equities on December 28, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1937.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 1508.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 429.20 crore in debt on December 28, 2011.
