Alfa Laval India wins order worth Rs 45.50 crore

Alfa Laval India, an Indian subsidiary of Swedish Alfa Laval Group, has received an order worth Rs 45.50 crore for a complete solution to a vegetable oil plant in India and delivery is scheduled for early 2012. Alfa Laval’s products such as separators, mixers and heat exchangers will be used for refining different types of crude oils like soyabean and palm etc. into high quality oils.

Alfa Laval (India) is engaged in business of manufacturing and supplying of components and systems for centrifugal separation, heat transfer and fluid handling. The company is part of 125 year old Alfa Laval Group.

Alfa Laval’s products are also used in power plants, aboard ships, in the mechanical engineering industry, in the mining industry and for waste water treatment as well as for comfort climate and refrigeration applications.
