National Aluminium Company (Nalco) has decided to supply 50,000 tonne per annum (tpa) of molten metal to the aluminium park coming up at Angul for promoting downstream industries. The aluminium park at Angul is being developed by a special purpose vehicle called Angul Aluminium Park Private (AAPPL), a 50:50 joint venture between Nalco and Odisha state government’s land acquisition arm, Industrial Infra Development Corporation (Idco).
Recently, Idco sought firm commitment from National Aluminium Company (Nalco) to provide raw material support to the downstream units to be located in the park.
