FIIs net buyers of Rs 221.59 crore in futures and options segments on June 16

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 221.59 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, June 16, 2011.

FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 732.24 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1309.80 crore. In the stocks segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 340.28 crore and they also sold stock options to the tune of Rs 15.69 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 16, 2011 is 34.93%.
