TECH Mahindra is reportedly eyeing Hewlett-Packard's 60.49% stake in Mphasis. The company has also initiated exploratory talks with respect to HP’s Mphasis stake. However, PE player Carlyle also is likely contender for HP’s stake in Mphasis.

Earlier, it was reported Private equity giants Carlyle Group LP and Blackstone Group LP as well as Indian outsourcers L&T Infotech along with Tech Mahindra were eyeing  Hewlett-Packard (HP) Co’s $1 billion stake in Mphasis.
