Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), is working with its partner, Volvo to develop products for export markets. The company is currently in the process of exporting its made-in-India light and medium commercial vehicles or LCVs to select markets in West Asia, South Asia and Africa.

The company is planning to export Eicher Pro 1000 and Pro 3000 series trucks in these markets. In the second phase, the company will export Pro 6000 and Pro 8000 series trucks. Already, Volvo in Thailand sells Pro 6000 series trucks under the UD brand.
