The company’s net profit for the quarter surged 42.68% at Rs 238.67 crore as compared to Rs 167.28 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 13.69% to Rs 1780.70 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1566.24 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 51.90% rise in its net profit after taxes & Minority interest at Rs 325.47 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 214.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 3.29% at Rs 2600.19 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2517.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
