Bharti Infratel reports 29% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Bharti Infratel has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The company’s net profit from ordinary activities after tax for the quarter surged 173.50% at Rs 1206.70 crore as compared to Rs 441.20 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 50.87% to Rs 2346.10 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1555 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the Group has reported 29.41% rise in its net profit after taxes & Minority interest at Rs 462.80 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 357.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 6.56% at Rs 2959.90 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2777.60 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
