Shriram City Union Finance rises on reporting 9% rise in Q1 net profit

Shriram City Union Finance is currently trading at Rs. 1705.00, up by 4.00 points or 0.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 1701.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1700.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1705.00 and Rs. 1690.00 respectively. So far 52 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1827.80 on 24-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 850.05 on 08-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1827.80 and Rs. 1670.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11230.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.81% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.72% and 39.47% respectively. 

Shriram City Union Finance’s net profit rose 8.77% at Rs 127.72 crore as compared to Rs 117.42 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 6.62% to Rs 859.07 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 805.74 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Shriram City Union Finance has presence in the following business segments - loan Against Gold (LAG), Small Business Finance Loans (SBF), Auto Loans, 2-Wheeler loans, Personal Loans and Consumer Durables Loans.
