ITC to enter into dairy, beverages segment
Date: 30-07-2014ITC, a diversified conglomerate has decided to enter into the dairy and beverages segment. The company has already started its construction of a milk processing plant in Munger district of Bihar.
Recently, the company had reported 15.60% growth in Q1FY15 net profit of Rs 2186.39 crore as against Rs 1891.33 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year
ITC, a diversified conglomerate has business interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agri-business, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
