Date: 01-08-2014Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported rise of 6.06% in total sales of Eicher branded products to 3341 units in July 2014. The company had sold 3150 units in the same month of the previous year.
In the company’s domestic CV market (5T and above), Eicher trucks and buses have recorded sales of 2955 units in July 2014 as compared to 2915 units in the year-ago period, up by 1.37%.
On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 386 units in July 2014 as compared to 235 units in the same month of the previous year, representing a growth of 64.25%.
