National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has been conferred with the outstanding PSU of the year 2014 at the prestigious All India Management Association (AIMA) Managing India Awards -2014. The award was received by the company at the function held in New Delhi on August 06, 2014. The awards were conferred on eleven selected winners in various categories with NTPC being the only Public Sector Company (PSU).

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
