Divis Laboratories’ Q1 net profit dips 4%

Divis Laboratories has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The company’s net profit for the quarter declined 3.88% at Rs 167.93 crore as compared to Rs 174.71 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. However, the company’s total income has increased by 14.86% to Rs 655.35 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 570.57 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Divis Laboratories, together with its subsidiaries, engaged in the manufacture and sale of active pharma ingredients (APIs) and intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry in India and worldwide.
