MRPL narrows Q1 net loss to Rs 36.10 crore

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 36.10 crore as compared to a net loss of Rs 453.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. The company’s total income has increased by 4.38% to Rs 15964.62 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 15295.21 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

MRPL, a schedule ‘A’ CPSE and a subsidiary of ONGC is a State of Art Grassroot Refinery located in a beautiful hilly terrain, north of Mangalore city, in Dakshin Kannada region.
